Holscot and Lamp Covering

When Holscot was approached to consider the covering of UV lamps with FEP, we looked at it in a different way than others – we looked at it from the point of view of being Experts in Fluoroplastic Extrusion and Manipluation. Not only did we have nearly 20 years’ experience in extruding these material, we had many more years’ experience welding and forming FEP.

The covering of straight T5, T8, T10 and T12 lamps was well within our capabilities – both by supplying and/or using FEP Heat Shrinkable Sleeving and by carrying out the covering in house.

Our skills came more to the fore for developing pockets and bespoke covers for more complex shaped lamps. This experience and these skills are at your disposal to find a solution for your fragment retention problems.

We now offer the most extensive range of FEP shatter resistant covering solutions for fluorescent and UV lights of all shapes and sizes.
